The Red Cross Response Communications Team provides radio operations for wildfires, structural fires, aircraft accidents, all natural disasters, and sheltering. This makes our communications group one of the most active response radio teams in disaster communication. To learn more about how you can participate in this humanitarian effort, please leave a message at +1 415 729 4742, telling us your name, telephone number, call sign, and which cities you live and work in. Your voicemail will be forwarded to the comm team leads for all 6 counties in the Bay Area chapter. The team leads for the appropriate counties will then contact you.
We hold two nets each week. The ARCBA net meets every Wednesday evening at 20:00 at 443.225 MHz, positive offset, 100 Hz PL. You are also invited to participate in the Monday Night Simplex Net, held on 147.420 MHz. This simplex net is held prior to our regular weekly meeting at the Burlingame Red Cross office.
