The Burlingame office RCM-DST team has just published version 2.53 of its Field Response Guide.
The Guide is now 72 pages, and has many corrections and enhancements, including:
- Expanded color plates, with emergency symbols, an NVIS band clock, vehicle beacon colors, and a telephone plug wiring diagram
- An enhanced and expanded equipment (go-kit) list, divided into sections for yourself, your car, and your home
- Expanded and reorganized packet radio listings
- A list of shelter locations with antenna drops
- Two pages documenting our MSAT satellite telephone system
- Updated the Red Cross call sign list to include all known calls
- Created an appendix dedicated to telephone numbers and information, and added fax numbers for many ARCBA offices.
